September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and I'm so happy to be able to be able to provide another t-shirt design to help spread the word! Childhood cancer in all its forms is a nightmare for all families it touches. It is the leading cause of death in the U.S. for children under the age of 20, and one-in-eight of those kids diagnosed will not survive. Sadly, less than 5% of federal funding for cancer research goes to childhood cancer. We can change this by getting the word out and bringing this most important conversation to the forefront.
This years message is "Fight Like A War Machine" - designed to show both the strength of will and frantic emotions that coexist for the kids, and their families, that find themselves fighting this battle. This shirt, as well as last years "Super Heroes Unite", is available on Booster.com - see the links below if interested! Many thanks to my friend Zach Kamnitzer for all his incredible web knowledge and coding skills!
Very happy and honored to be able to design a brunch invitation for an amazing couple getting married later this month. Congrats to Ashley Hause and Shane Verville!
